Our humble beginnings…
“When I decided to create my own salon, I had very strong intentions from the outset. Moreover about what I didn’t want, which were carved from many personal experiences around visiting salons. I’d go into a salon wanting one thing and come out being pressured into something I didn’t want or that they couldn’t achieve. I wanted to create an environment where clients would feel comfortable in telling us their problems or beauty goals and in return being transparent with our recommendations. Giving choices where it doesn’t compromise the integrity of your natural nails or skin was paramount, or for any living being on our planet for that matter.
In 2013, after being introduced to the world of beauty by my sister Lorraine, we decided to explore the options together. Researching, studying, trying and testing everything the industry had to offer. We hand-picked educators from all over the country and trained with the best brands and tutors in the UK, and voila! I launched my first home salon.
The word spread and demand grew so I quit my job in Northampton, moved to Manchester. I rented a corner in a hair salon and 6 years later, Nataya Beauty has manifested into a thriving community hub. A place where we can all share our stories or concerns, exchange recommendations and news and seek advice and help amongst us. As well as wanting to give the best beauty options that are kind and caring, we also want to make you feel relaxed. Like you’re sharing your time with us, just like friends would.” – Nataya
